You are probably wondering; what the hell is the Dirigible of Pain? If you weren’t, why are you here?

The Dirigible of Pain was originally concieved as a secondary feed to The Game Master Show. It would contain the extra things that The Game Master Show didn’t have time to put in it’s feed, or that didn’t fit within the format of the show. We talked about a name for the show. Talked about what we should call it. We thought to call it something sensible, something that would show what it was. Things like The Game Master Show – Alternate Feed. Boring names, the lot of them.

So we moved on from there. I won’t go into the fisticuffs that were entered into to find the name. Suffice it to say that the Dirigible of Pain was too good to pass up as a name. It satisfied all the conditions of satisfaction.

1. It was easy to remember.
2. It didn’t lock us into a format or content.
3. It was a direct attack against those Overlords of The Secret Lair.
4. It allowed us to justify our purchase of an actual dirigible.

It was #5 that really sold it for us. So the Dirigible of Pain was created.

We are still an alternate feed for The Game Master Show, but we won’t be just doing things spawned from there. This site and forum is a mouthpiece for the members of The Game Master Show and their friends to spout off and talk about things that interest them; hold interviews or interrogations with people who interest them; and of course, to crush the Overlords Johnson and Miller.
